Sustainability
The future has begun, and we're already working towards it today!
At Kembali Hotel, our main objective is to promote sustainability and increase positive impacts on the environment and in Porto de Galinhas. To achieve this goal, we have adopted a series of actions and choices that can make all the difference. This means that we consider the environmental, social, and economic impacts of our activities and take steps to minimize and prevent them. Furthermore, we value health and well-being, making them fundamental to our hospitality culture.
Here are some actions currently underway:
Zero Waste Certification
After holding New Year's Eve parties with sustainable practices, we earned the Zero Waste seal and became the first event in the hotel sector in Porto de Galinhas with this certification. For New Year's Eve 2026, 96.9% of the waste generated at the party was diverted from the landfill, and we achieved a B grade in good practices, respecting the methodology based on Zero Waste concepts. This means that the waste was managed properly to minimize the negative impact on the environment. The Zero Waste certification is a product of the Zero Waste Brazil Institute, validated by the Zero Waste International Alliance.
E-Waste Certification
In 2025, the Kembali Hotel was certified with the E-WASTE Green Seal by the company REEECICLE, becoming the first hotel in Porto de Galinhas to achieve this important environmental certification. This seal recognizes our commitment to the proper disposal of electronic waste, reinforcing our sustainable practices and our responsibility to the environment.
INDAMA Certification
Also in 2025, the Kembali Hotel received the INDAMA environmental certification, a recognition of its commitment to environmental preservation. Among the actions that contributed to this achievement, the correct ecological disposal of used vegetable oil stands out. We follow rigorous environmental management criteria, reducing impacts and using natural resources consciously and responsibly.
Energy and water conservation
We have energy-saving technology in all rooms (everything is automatically switched off when the guest leaves). In addition, we encourage our guests to contribute to reducing water consumption by offering the option of not changing towels and bed linens daily.
Waste separation
We take care to manage our waste responsibly through selective collection and proper disposal, such as recycling and composting. By separating and selling plastic, metal, paper, and oil, we are able to give these materials a proper destination, preventing possible contamination of the environment.
Circular economy
At Kembali Hotel, we are committed to the circular economy, which means we seek to create a continuous cycle of resources through our purchasing policies and partnerships.
Cultural support
With the Arte Hub project, we are pleased to invest in talented Brazilian artists, providing them with the opportunity to create incredible interventions in our hotel. By bringing unique artistic expressions to Kembali, we enrich our guests' experience and promote the diversity and appreciation of national art.
Reusing linens
We have implemented a comprehensive program to include our employees in the reuse of linens and towels. Through this program, we encourage and empower our employees to adopt conscious reuse practices, ensuring that everyone understands the crucial role they play in preserving natural resources.
Collection of bottle caps:
Launched in 2016 at the Brazilian Plastics Congress, Tampinha Legal is a program in which the NGO O Pequeno Nazareno, a non-profit organization and national reference in serving children and adolescents living on the streets, participates. Through this project, charitable organizations seek economic sustainability to enable and continue their work. The Armação Group, committed to the initiative, has already donated approximately 56,892 bottle caps, contributing to the economic sustainability of Pequeno Nazareno. This donation has proven very important for the participation of this organization as a beneficiary of Tampinha Legal, the largest socio-environmental program of an educational nature in circular economy initiated by the plastics transformation industry in Latin America.
Collection of seals:
This action is part of a socio-environmental campaign involving all employees of the Armação Group. By collecting can tabs from beverage and food containers, we seek to reduce the environmental impact of waste and transform these donations into gifts for those who need them most. The tabs are sold, and the funds raised are used to purchase wheelchairs. These wheelchairs are then donated to people in situations of social vulnerability or to institutions that work with this population. We thank everyone who contributes to making this initiative possible!
