Sustainability

At Kembali Hotel, we believe the future starts with the choices we make today.

Our commitment is to promote sustainability and create a positive impact on both the environment and the local community of Porto de Galinhas. To achieve this, we embrace responsible practices that consider the environmental, social, and economic impact of everything we do. We are dedicated to minimizing our footprint while fostering well-being, making sustainability an essential part of our hospitality.

Discover some of the initiatives currently in place:

Zero Waste Certification

Thanks to our sustainable New Year's Eve celebrations, Kembali Hotel became the first hotel event in Porto de Galinhas to earn the Zero Waste Certification. During our 2026 New Year's Eve celebration, 96.9% of all waste generated was diverted from landfills, earning a Grade B for best practices under the Zero Waste methodology. This achievement reflects our commitment to responsible waste management and reducing environmental impact. The Zero Waste Certification is issued by Instituto Lixo Zero Brasil and validated by the Zero Waste International Alliance.

E-WASTE Certification

In 2025, Kembali Hotel became the first hotel in Porto de Galinhas to receive the REEECICLE Green E-WASTE Seal. This certification recognizes our commitment to the proper disposal of electronic waste and reinforces our dedication to sustainable environmental practices.

INDAMA Certification

Also in 2025, Kembali Hotel received the INDAMA Environmental Certification in recognition of our commitment to environmental preservation. One of the key initiatives behind this achievement is the responsible disposal of used cooking oil. By following strict environmental management practices, we reduce our impact while using natural resources responsibly.

Energy and Water Conservation

All guest rooms are equipped with energy-saving technology that automatically turns off electrical systems when the room is unoccupied. We also encourage guests to help reduce water consumption by choosing to reuse towels and bed linens during their stay.

Responsible Waste Management

We carefully manage our waste through recycling, composting, and proper disposal practices. By separating and recycling materials such as plastic, metal, paper, and used cooking oil, we help prevent environmental contamination and support a more sustainable future.

Circular Economy

At Kembali Hotel, we are committed to the principles of the circular economy. Through responsible purchasing decisions and sustainable partnerships, we strive to keep resources in use for as long as possible and reduce waste.

Supporting Brazilian Art

Through our Arte Hub project, we proudly support talented Brazilian artists by providing space for original artistic installations throughout the hotel. These unique works enrich our guests' experience while celebrating creativity, cultural diversity, and Brazilian art.

Linen Reuse Program

We have implemented a comprehensive linen reuse program that actively engages our team members in sustainable practices. Through training and awareness, our staff helps promote the responsible reuse of towels and bed linens, contributing to the conservation of natural resources.

Plastic Cap Collection

Kembali Hotel proudly supports Tampinha Legal, Latin America's largest educational circular economy initiative for the plastics industry. Through this program, plastic caps are collected and donated to help fund the work of O Pequeno Nazareno, a nonprofit organization that supports children and teenagers in vulnerable situations. Together with Grupo Armação, we have donated more than 56,000 plastic caps, helping generate financial support for this important social initiative.

Aluminum Pull Tab Collection

Our aluminum pull tab collection campaign brings together employees across Grupo Armação in a shared sustainability effort. The collected pull tabs are recycled, and the proceeds are used to purchase wheelchairs for individuals in vulnerable situations and organizations that support them. This initiative helps reduce waste while creating a meaningful social impact. We are grateful to everyone who contributes to making this project possible.
